We are currently seeking a dedicated Classroom Supervisor to work in secondary schools across the Rochdale area. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher. Follow provided lesson plans and ensure students stay on task. Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies. Provide support to students, helping them with their learning. Assist with break and lunch duties when required. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working in a secondary school setting, or those looking to build their classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting or sports setting (sports coaching experience is highly desirable). A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential. Strong communication and organisational skills. Confidence in managing classroom behaviour.
