G&P is a world leading quality management provider, working closely with key automotive, aerospace and off-highway manufacturers and associated supply chains to improve quality and efficiency levels.\n\nJob Description\n\nPerform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections.\n\n - Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension or steering issues.\n\n - Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components..\n\n - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.\n\n - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs in a clear and professional manner.\n\n- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.\n\n - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.\n\n - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.\n\n - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance..\n\n - Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs\n\nRequired Criteria\n\nA full UK Driving Licence\n\nGreat communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues\n\nNVQ Level 3 in relevant course or equivalent (e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC)\n\nPrior use of diagnostic equipment \n\nAt least 2 years’ experience working within a dealership \n\nPay\n\n· Competitive salary\n\n· Company Bonus\n\n· Job Type: Permanent.\n\n· Salary: £33,000 per annum\n\nSchedule:\n\n8:30am- 17:30pm\n\nDay shift\n\nMonday to Friday\n\none in three Saturdays\n\nOptional overtime availability
