Your future role
We are looking for multiple Rail Maintenance Technicians to join our Soho Birmingham Depot to support our Class 730 fleet.
This post shall be pivotal in achieving the successful and safe delivery of services to our customers. You will provide technical expertise and support to the project undertaking exam-based maintenance, unplanned and planned work, fault finding and rectification.
We’ll look to you for:
* Ensuring work is performed safely and effectively in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
* Undertaking exam-based maintenance.
* Providing technical support in fault finding and train repair activities.
* Diagnosing and repairing electronics and electrical systems.
* Detailed recording of faults and fault reporting.
* Conducting fault finding on vehicles either on depot or in service.
* Performing Testing & Re-Commissioning activities on vehicles.
* Assisting with skills development within depots.
* Providing on-train fault diagnosis/rectification.
* Liaising with systems support engineers as necessary.
* Carrying out duties in accordance with Train Care Centre quality and safety procedures.
