Job Title: Legal Counsel

Location: South Kent – Hybrid (3 days)
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a high performing bi-national legal team to provide commercial, contractual, construction and compliance-related legals services across this global group of companies. You will work closely with the Head of Legal UK and will be a key member of a collaborative and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for an in-house Solicitor with 3+ years PQE.
Duties include:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, construction and engineering projects, IT/IP contracts and marketing/advertising agreements
* Identifying legal considerations arising from day-to-day operational and commercial activities
* Collaborate with the Head of Legal UK and the Legal Director to meet the objectives of the legal department
* Contribute to bi-national work between legal team members
* Provide training to legal team members on key UK legal issues
* Offer legal advice and recommendations on regulatory and compliance requirements across the Group including Data Protection and Competition law policies
The successful candidate will have/be:
* UK qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE
* Demonstrable in-house legal experience dealing with corporate, commercial and regulatory issues
* Able to work autonomously to minimize legal risk and obtain maximum commercial advantage from commercial and corporate activities
