Location:
Flax Bourton,
Flax Bourton, Bristol, BS48, United Kingdom
Position: Nursery Assistant PART TIME (11am to 3pm Monday to Friday), includes all school holidays
We are currently recruiting for two Nursery Assistants to work at our Nursery in Flax Bourton, a beautiful setting, easily accessible from lots of local road networks.
Everything we do is about the children and we constantly strive to do things better and better. We can't do this without a lovely staff team which is why we spend a lot of time and effort supporting and valuing our staff.
At our relatively new and beautiful setting, we can offer you an exceptional environment to work in. We are looking for someone to support our team of qualified practitioners, ensuring the welfare and care of children is at the heart of everything we do. You would spend your time in this role working as part of a team in a particular age group, engaging in indoor and outdoor activities with the children, supporting their needs, and generally being an integral part of the team over the lunch cover hours of the day.
If you become interested in training for an early years qualification, that is something we can support you with.
You do not need previous work experience working with young children, but that would be beneficial. However, we also support staff coming into this kind of role as long as you can demonstrate a passion for working with young children and are committed. We provide thorough training.
Red Bus has been operating for over 11 years, we are a quality organisation that values our staff and we are an extremely stable place to work. We only have a small number of staff vacancies in each of our settings and we have good support from our own bank staff as needed.
What we offer you as a Nursery Assistant:
1. Part-time hours 11am-3pm Monday to Friday
2. Pay up to £12.25 per hour depending on age
3. Up to 36 days holiday per year depending on service (including paid time off during the Christmas break)
4. Summer and winter uniform
5. Best in class induction and onboarding process for all staff
6. A child-centric approach; we love the children to have as much fun as possible and to learn in the best environments
7. A quality and professional environment. We are rated Outstanding with Ofsted and we help our Practitioners train and learn to this standard
8. Lovely people who work for Red Bus who are very team-focused and work together
9. A management team who listens and supports and importantly values the work our staff do in these important roles
10. Amazing environment for you and the children! Fully resourced, continually changing, very much fun!
11. Significant learning and development opportunities for you to train and achieve your goals
12. A growing company with many career opportunities
13. Easy parking
14. Company & staff events
15. Pension
16. Discounted childcare
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to complete an enhanced criminal record disclosure (DBS check).
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; all staff and volunteers are required to share this commitment.
