You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This is one of UK's leading hospitals for the treatment of individuals, families and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions To be considered for this position you must hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registered with the HCPC As the Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include: To complete assessments, developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans, facilitating group and 1:1 work, facilitating graded exposure, educating on coping strategies, completing community signposting and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings Working alongside an occupational therapy assistant and may be required to provide supervision to occupational therapy staff Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of nurses, healthcare assistants, psychiatrists and a specialty doctor, a large part of the role will also involve autonomous working Expected to apply your occupational therapy skills, complete thorough risk assessments and use evidence-practice to guide your therapeutic interventions The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Strong personal organizational skills and effective communication abilities Experience working with secure and/or acute environments Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Able to show a can do attitude The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary up to £36,000 pro rata. This exciting position is a part time role working 18.75 hours a week.
