Registered Nurse - Short Stay Unit
Join our dynamic team on the Short Stay Unit, a 40-bedded, fast-paced environment dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with a variety of acute medical conditions. Our unit focuses on patients with a length of stay of up to 72 hours, ensuring a swift and efficient recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
Support to Ward/Department Leader:
• Collaborate closely with the Ward/Department Leader to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Assist in the management and coordination of the unit, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Nursing Care:
• Deliver and monitor comprehensive nursing care for a designated group of patients throughout their care episode.
• Utilize your clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Learning Environment:
• Play an active role in fostering an effective and supportive learning environment.
• Mentor and support junior staff and students, contributing to their professional development and the overall learning culture of the unit.
