We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Quality Professional Assurance Programme, to be involved in an industry-leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
We are now recruiting for a Quality Professional Assurance Programme to be responsible for helping to shape and manage the development and deployment of the SMR quality assurance arrangements, processes, and systems to meet nuclear design code and regulatory requirements, best practices, and quality excellence.
Key criteria for this role are:
* Support the development and management of the quality assurance programme, quality manuals, implementation plans and key performance measures to meet design code and regulatory requirements to support the Rolls-Royce SMR strategic intent.
* Support the development and management of SMR knowledge management, learning from experience and continuous improvement strategy, programmes, processes, and governance.
* Interpreting stakeholder and design code requirements and ensuring appropriate and effective quality programme and design code processes and governance are applied.
* Coach and assist management and their teams to ensure the quality assurance and design code requirements are understood and implemented.
* Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to provide quality support to all functions including marketing, project and programme management, engineering, manufacturing, and the supply chain, gaining experience of a range of SMR activities.
* Building strong relationships with the functions, internal and external stakeholders including regulators and industry bodies.
* Provide support to the Rolls-Royce SMR certification programme and external nuclear regulatory assessments and reviews.
* Development of processes, procedures, and facilitating process mapping and problem-solving activities and workshops.
* Be focused, driven and agile with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experienced in the creation and review of documents with an eye for detail and accuracy.
We anticipate paying a salary of between £40,000 - £52,500 DOE plus:
* Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
* Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.

* Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
* £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
Due to the safety regulations within the nuclear industry, applicants will be required to participate in additional screening. These are:
* Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
* Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
* Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
