We are looking for a Field Account Manager to join our sales team, working remotely with travel required.
In this role, you will be responsible for commercial activities, ownership/sales development of customer accounts, managing relationships, and identifying new opportunities in collaboration with the R&D technical team.
You will ideally be based from home with up to 30 – 50% of travel required predominantly in the UK covering Cambridge, Macclesfield, and Speke to visit customers, plus occasional international travel to the Nordics and other global locations.

* Understand customer needs to promote product portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets as well as respond to customer enquiries.
* Identify new business opportunities aligned with the company’s overall market and growth strategy.
* Generate, develop and maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce) and ensure all customer interactions and sales activities are up to date.
* Analyse customer data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
* Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace.
* Coordinate with internal teams to gain further business from customers.
* Coordinate and participate in marketing activities.
* Develop and implement account plans and request resources in line with account plans.
* Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnership.
What Will Convince Us
* A degree in life sciences or engineering or equivalent is preferred; higher-level qualification is beneficial.
* Demonstrated experience in the biotech/pharma industry with some laboratory-based experience is essential.
* Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills.
* Creative thinker with problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
* Knowledge or use of CRM tools.
* Willingness to travel (Full driving license required).
