What is the opportunity?
As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will provide a robust administration function to the financial planning team in an efficient and timely manner. You will support the Paraplanners in the production of suitability reports and will assist in the preparation of review and other client meetings.
The combination of work experience and learning opportunities will equip you with a well-rounded skill set that will enable you to build your career in Financial Planning.
What will you do?
* Communicate with financial advisors and clients.
* Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments.
* Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions.
* ISA subscriptions and transfers.
* Processing payments for clients.
* Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding the administration of client accounts.
* Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.
* General record keeping and electronic filing.
* Support business development activities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Previous administration experience, ideally in financial services.
* Willingness to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role.
* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy throughout your work.
Nice-to-have
* Enjoy learning new things, seeking out ways to expand your knowledge, and investing time in your development.
