Salary: £42,844 - £64,266 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (shift rota)

About the Role
As an EC&I Team Leader at FCC Environment, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising the site’s engineering resources. Your responsibilities will include prioritising and planning preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance across all areas of the process to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations. You will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Team to sustain plant availability and performance, support planned outages, and oversee improvements to the site’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Additionally, you will provide leadership and guidance to ensure maintenance activities align with operational and safety objectives.
This is a full-time role, working five days per week.
What Are We Looking For?
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Technical Expertise – A strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) maintenance, ideally within a process, power plant, or heavy industrial environment.
- Leadership Experience – Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
- Problem-Solving Skills – The capability to diagnose and resolve complex engineering faults, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient plant operation.
- CMMS & Maintenance Planning – Experience with maintenance management systems, with the ability to drive improvements in asset reliability.
- Health & Safety Focus – A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, with knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility & Responsiveness – Willingness to be part of an out-of-hours response team (1 in 4 weeks), acting as the key contact for the Operations Shift Manager.
- Qualifications – Ideally, an HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
