Position Overview
We’re looking for a commercially driven, analytical, and strategic Amazon & Pure Play Account Manager to scale revenue and profitability growth across Amazon and key e-tailers. This role is for someone who lives and breathes marketplace growth, ad performance, and financial optimisation—balancing sales acceleration with smart ad spend and razor-sharp margin management.
You’ll manage PPC, DSP, and retail media strategies to scale sales while keeping ROAS and profitability in check. If you love diving into data, optimising ads, and making sure every pound spent delivers strong returns, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
Account Strategy & Performance
• Own and drive the P&L across Amazon & Pure Play e-retailers, ensuring strong revenue growth while keeping profitability in check.
• Optimise Amazon PPC, DSP, and Retail Media ads, ensuring high ROAS, low ACOS, and a profitable bottom line.
• Plan and execute pricing, promotions, and ad strategies to maximize sales while controlling costs.
• Stay ahead of algorithm changes, platform updates, and new ad formats proactively recommending new strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Financial Management & Profitability
• Track and analyse COGS, Amazon fees, and ad spend to ensure every sale is driving profit.
• Work with finance to forecast sales, margins, and inventory demand, ensuring profitability at SKU level.
• Own the budget for Amazon & Pure Play platforms, ensuring efficient spend across PPC, promotions, and retail media.
• Identify opportunities to increase contribution margin, negotiating better terms and leveraging platform incentives.
Advertising & Paid Media
· Manage and optimize Amazon Sponsored Ads (PPC), DSP, and Brand Stores, refining targeting and bidding strategies to maximize revenue.
· Analyse ad performance, optimizing spend for high conversion, low cost-per-click, and strong ROAS.
· Implement retargeting and lookalike strategies to drive repeat purchases and maximize lifetime value.
Platform Growth & eCommerce Optimization
• Optimize Amazon Brand Stores and A+ Content, to ensure best-in-class product listings, high converting product pages, and SEO strategies to improve discoverability and conversion rates.
· Identify new pure play retailers, establish a presence and grow the platforms
· Monitor inventory, availability, and demand trends, ensuring ads are running at full efficiency.
· Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, finance, and marketing) to enhance operational efficiency, minimize stock issues, and optimize logistics for Amazon success
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 3+ years in Amazon & Pure Play account management, with a strong focus on ad performance & profitability.
• Expertise in Amazon PPC, DSP, Retail Media, with a proven track record of scaling revenue profitably.
• Strong commercial acumen – confident in reading P&L reports, forecasting margins, and optimizing for contribution profit.
• Experience managing Pure Play retailers (Lookfantastic, ASOS, Cult Beauty, FeelUnique, etc.).
• Hands-on problem solver – thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution.
• Strong Excel skills – comfortable building financial models, tracking ROAS, and optimizing ad budgets.
• Experience with TikTok Shop would be ideal but a desire to learn and develop your skills in this area is even more important.
