Their Networks and Innovation team has played a significant role in that development, with specialist studies in network planning and design, data analysis, and the development of innovative planning tools and services. They are now seeking to appoint a Director of Networks to lead this development and growth.
Department management fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Business development and client relationship management to;
Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth with well established existing clients
Recruitment and training to ensure the department has the resources and skills to deliver for our clients
Giving guidance and advice in project management and technical delivery of the work.
- Strategic planning and development, including;
Being an integral part of the team's annual strategic planning and delivery of the agreed plan.
The successful candidate will have technical expertise in power system planning and analysis and a good understanding of the GB power system. This role is suited to an experienced power systems engineer with management experience who is keen to lead, develop and inspire a growing team of ambitious engineers.
Commercial awareness of consultancy projects, including setting and adhering to project budgets, scrutiny and understanding of contractual obligations, and identification and mitigation of commercial risks.
