About the role
We are recruiting a Programme Manager who wants to see their work making a difference to people's futures. As part of a community of change leaders delivering strategic and tactical projects, you will be responsible for defining, shaping and coordinating people, process and technology change globally, improving access to education and life opportunities for millions of people.

We are recruiting for a fixed term role and will consider requests for full or part-time hours. We operate a hybrid working arrangement combining remote working with attendance at our Cambridge office as required, by mutual agreement.
Programmes you could be working on include:
* Implementing new technologies into the business to improve our ways of working, drive efficiency and enhance customer experience.
* Driving policy and process change to support new initiatives such as environmental sustainability or the switch to Open Access publishing.
About you
* You can take a brief for a business opportunity and turn it into a plan through robust engagement and analysis.
* You embrace good governance and communication to achieve successful outcomes.
* You have great people skills, can recognise the viewpoints of multiple stakeholders and identifying the best way forward.
* You are comfortable in accepting and providing challenge to senior colleagues to ensure the best outcome for the projects on programmes.
* You are proactive and highly motivated by your accountability to make change happen.
* You can lead a team, coaching and mentoring as well as challenging to drive project delivery and personal development.
