Science Teacher - KS3 & KS4
The school is a secondary school based in Croydon, seeking a dedicated Science teacher to start ASAP or in January 25. They are located near public transport links and teach up to KS4, incorporating sports into the curriculum to aid theory, behavior management, and understanding of environments.

They look for candidates who can work with small groups of students; you must be enthusiastic and have the knowledge or a desire to learn and be trained to work with SEND.
The school is located in Croydon, close to the station, and offers on-site car parking for staff.
The role:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable SEMH young people to learn.
2. Be a class tutor, ensuring pastoral needs are met and establishing excellent relationships with parents and carers.
3. Engage and motivate pupils.
4. Inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
5. Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom.
6. Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school.
7. Plan and lead children in off-site enrichment activities.
8. Ensure you uphold all safeguarding procedures, including engaging in annual safeguarding training, including induction training.
You must have:
1. Successful class teaching experience.
2. Experience of working with children with SEN or mainstream school experience.
3. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
4. An excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught.
5. Degree in education.
6. QTS or QTLS.
7. Experience of teaching science within a UK school in mainstream or SEND schools.
