Role Overview:
This full-time hybrid position offers a dynamic opportunity for a Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations on construction sites, manage site teams, and ensure projects meet both safety standards and quality expectations. As a Site Supervisor, you will be instrumental in guiding projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met, and fostering a collaborative, efficient work environment. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of high-quality civil engineering projects while maintaining a focus on sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with project plans.
Manage, lead, and support site teams, including subcontractors, labourers, and other personnel, ensuring everyone adheres to project timelines and quality standards.
Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Monitor and manage site progress, making adjustments to schedules, resources, and activities to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Resolve on-site issues promptly, utilising problem-solving skills and attention to detail to minimise delays and disruptions.
Ensure the highest standards of quality control, maintaining site documentation, and assisting with the preparation of reports.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of site operations and processes, promoting a culture of safety, innovation, and sustainability. Qualifications:
Proven experience in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field, with a strong understanding of site management and operations.
CSCS Gold or White Professional Card.
SSSTS or Higher
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse on-site team.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
Proficient in using project management software to track project progress, resources, and timelines.
Excellent problem-solving ability, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to address challenges proactively and efficiently.
Flexibility to work remotely when required and adapt to changing project needs.
