Job Description
Experienced civils biased Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager required to join a regional specialist contractor working on impressive schemes across the civils industry up to the value of £20M. Joining an experienced & longstanding HSQE team, working alongside some of the country's top main contractors.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality and working alongside the Quality Manager you will be responsible for driving & promoting Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality on site & amongst the business.
This role will involve regular client liaison, reviewing existing processes and methodologies, implementing & improving monitoring & management systems to track company performance, alongside leading investigations and providing support and knowledge throughout the project lifecycle.
As Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager you will lead projects as No1 holding ultimate responsibility for the smooth and safe progress whilst on site.
This role is with a busy specialist regional contractor based in the Southwest, with a turnover in excess of £80m. You will oversee a range of schemes including highways, flood alleviation, and reservoir schemes valuing up to £20M across Hampshire, Wiltshire and the Southwest.
You will be an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager with a proven track record working with reputable main contractors on similar value schemes.
Key attributes will include a relevant construction or civil engineering degree, NEBOSH/ IOSH and experience with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001. A driven, engaging and team player nature is also required.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and package circa £60K - £65K + package.
