Buckswood School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our dynamic team on part time basis (3 days per week). The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging PE lessons, supervising games sessions, and contributing to the overall development of our sports programs. Immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging PE lessons for GCSE (mandatory) and A-level students (desirable).
2. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
3. Supervise and lead Games sessions for students across various year groups.
4. Ensure all sports equipment and facilities are used safely and effectively.
5. Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
6. Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and attendance.
7. Ensure the health and safety of students during PE lessons and Games sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in teaching PE at GCSE (mandatory) and A-level (desirable).
3. Strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to motivate and engage students in physical education.
6. Commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a school setting.
