Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – £35,000.00-£45,000.00 – Aldermaston / Tadley (office based, with site visits as required)The RoleAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a friendly, growing team? Do you have a solid background in cost estimation, contract management, and delivering construction projects?We're looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to support our Strategic Works Division. This role focuses primarily on architectural fit-out projects within MOD sites.
You'll be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the projects, from early-stage estimating through to cost control and reporting.If you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a team that values your skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Estimating project costs, preparing accurate forecasts and budgetsPreparing, reviewing, and administering contract documentationManaging subcontractor selection, pricing, and documentationMonitoring project cash flow, cost reporting and financial progressConducting risk assessments and cost-risk analysisEnsuring compliance with relevant construction legislationSupporting procurement activities, including negotiating with suppliersAttending site visits and liaising with project stakeholdersThe CompanyAt Space, we've been transforming spaces and creating inspiring environments for over 21 years.
