Are you a technology enthusiast and interested in delivering critical services at AWS? We have an opportunity for a System Engineer in the AWS Security organization, and are looking for a technical contributor who is ready to transform AWS’ capability in delivery security services.
Key job responsibilities
1. Be a technical contributor for your team.
2. Look for opportunities to automate and scale using tooling and scripting.
3. Work efficiently and routinely deliver the right things with limited guidance.
4. Focus on ambiguous problem areas in existing or new development initiatives.
5. Take a long term view of your team’s systems and how they fit into the architecture.
6. Proactively fix operational deficiencies and/or propose projects that have significant business and/or customer impact, which may require the work of your team.
7. Be an exceptional diagnostician when resolving operational or performance issues encountered in your team’s systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
2. Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
3. Experience with Linux/Unix.
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with distributed systems at scale.
