Job Description As Retail Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our gift shop in the Ox Shed, providing an exceptional shopping experience for our guests. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent customer service skills, and a passion for retail within a dynamic farm park environment. Skills & Experience Required: Previous Retail Experience. Proven experience in a retail environment is preferred, merchandising skills would be advantageous. Customer Focused. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage and assist a wide range of visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the retail space. To engage and be knowledgeable about our products and assisting our customers with enquiries and resolving any issues efficiently. Communication & Organisation. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Stay informed about the Cotswold Farm Park brand, local suppliers, and products available in-store. Actively promote products, offers, and seasonal items to customers. Attention to Detail. A keen eye for presentation and stock management. Experience with retail POS system technology is preferred. Full training on our systems will be given. A passion for retail & the Cotswold Farm Park Brand is required. A genuine interest in farm life, conservation, and the many products we offer. Team Player. Willingness to open the shop in Managers absence and cover occasional days off, holiday periods. Assist with cash handling, including till operations, occasional cashing up. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, and manage refunds or exchanges as required. The role is part time, will include at least one weekend day, working 2-3 days per week. This could go up to 5 days per week during peak trade and providing holiday cover where possible. Working hours are 8.30-5.00, we are open 7 days per week.
