We are looking for a Sales Representative (with particular focus on the housing sector marketplace) to join us at Lloyd Worrall Sheffield!
Lloyd Worrall has been supplying the building industry with its architectural hardware requirements since 1946. The Lloyd Worrall of today is a premier architectural solutions provider to the health, education, commercial, retail, and leisure sectors in the construction industry through consultation, specification, and end-user interaction. We depend on our qualified and experienced staff to guide and advise our customers on the most suitable solutions for their projects.
We’re looking for a long-term relationship builder, with great communication skills, who thrives on providing customer satisfaction. The role will involve maintaining and developing relationships with a number of our existing key clients, as well as constantly prospecting for new opportunities to bring to the business. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building sales and profits, developing a focused sales strategy, and working in collaboration with branch management and internal teams.
Here’s what you can expect to do as a Sales Representative with Lloyd Worrall:
* Effective time management, ensuring regular contact with the existing customer base while maximizing every opportunity to seek out new business.
* Working closely with the estimating department and branch management to ensure enquiries are handled appropriately, at agreed pricing levels, and submitted on time.
* A significant amount of travel based on the nationwide locations of our existing customer base and target clients.
* Promoting the wider company offer of architectural ironmongery, doorsets, handrail & balustrades, access control, and door automation with support from specialist departments within the business.
* Follow up on all leads and quotations, feeding back as necessary, and ensuring accurate updates on the company’s CRM system.
* Be accountable for the generation of new enquiries and conversion of enquiries into orders.
* Deal with any issues as they arise and liaise with branch management and internal teams on appropriate actions.
We know you are more than just a CV, and embracing everybody’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Sales Representative. While knowledge of door hardware would be beneficial, we are very happy to consider applicants outside the door hardware industry that have relevant experience. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in supply to the housebuilder sector, who understands the procurement process, and already has existing contacts with key decision makers.
We know you’re thinking ‘this sounds great, but what’s in it for me?’ Let us tell you:
* 23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
* Company bonus scheme
* A contributory pension scheme
* Awards where our colleagues are recognised quarterly and annually
* A generous staff discount scheme
* A range of training and development programmes to help you progress your career
