About You
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven FS Product Trading Manager to join our team.
You’ll possess the right balance of being a strong strategic and commercially focused individual, whilst also being passionate about implementing creative and integrated campaign strategies for our FS product mix across the categories.
You will enjoy building strong relationships across TVG with all stakeholders, not afraid to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. Your ability to analyse commercial data and identify opportunities to integrate the FS proposition throughout the customer experience will be crucial.
You’ll need demonstrable experience of Financial Services (credit products) or Retail experience with FS. Plus an understanding or our competitive market place, who our competitors are and what innovation is being driven across the consumer credit market.
Self-starting, you’ll be adept at problem solving, working under pressure to deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail in the delivery of campaign activity whilst driving results and recommendations to shape the future strategy.
About the role
Your role will be the principal FS specialist dedicated to supporting the Electrical, Toys and Gifts & Beauty categories in the development of FS offers that support trading and FS income. Always focusing on the delivery of commercial objectives and profitable activity that delivers good customer outcomes.
You will be required to conduct BAU activity including relationship management, development and deployment of FS offers Including CTA activity, reporting, competitor analysis, portfolio quality monitoring and business development. Enhancing the marketing channel mix for FS offers. Identifying opportunities to enhance FS/Retail experience for our customers.
You will work closely with retail trading, DCX, Marketing and categories to develop bespoke FS offers, including the use of future functionality including Sigma.iQ. Liaise with retail colleagues to develop retail credit offers that meet group commercial objectives.
Ownership of planning of projects and product initiatives; co-ordinates and implements agreed initiatives, usually with Group wide impacts, by effectively working in partnership with colleagues and departments across the Group at all levels. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead FS relationship with Electrical, Toys and Gifts & Beauty categories.
* Management of one direct report.
* Work closely with retail to optimise Sigma.iQ capabilities as we further integrate our FS and retail propositions.
* Build strong working relationships across FS, Retail, Marketing, Creative & DCX.
* Ensure projects with other business areas communicated and managed effectively, always seeking opportunities to further embed/enhance FS presence across key initiatives.
* Support the provision of a high performing FS product range at optimum rates of return for the business.
* Lead the process and customer targeting through Sigma.iQ to determine which FS offers are developed, including the commercial modelling of proposed activity, to understand expected impact of each campaign / initiative.
* Identify and recommend solutions for customers by defining and implementing a product suite that genuinely meets their demands and needs.
* Ownership of the sign off process for all offers, including management of key stakeholders across the group, including GLT members, to ensure commercial expectations are met.
* Review/challenge offers that do not meet commercial requirements, using experience and commercial acumen to refine where possible.
* Understand, monitor, and report on portfolio performance, identify retail dependencies, risks and opportunities.
* Plan projects and product related initiatives in line with corporate objectives.
* Co-ordinate and implement agreed initiatives.
* Work with the Governance, Compliance and Legal teams to develop full compliance with the legislation and guidelines that exist.
* Work closely with Marketing to support and ensure campaigns are delivered on time focusing on achieving required acquisition and retention levels.
* Manage sales/portfolio performance and KPIs in line with forecast and business strategy.
