Your new opportunity
Quarriers are currently recruiting part-time Support Workers to join a new service located in Paisley, Renfrewshire. You will be supporting a young adult male who is transitioning from children services into adult and providing 1:1 support in their day-to-day life. The person has complex needs and uses alternative methods of communication; therefore, a capability of building an understanding of their needs will be essential to adapt support in line with care plans and positive outcomes.
As a Support Worker, you will assist the individual in their own home with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and engaging in activities they enjoy while ensuring the person feels safe and secure.
Working pattern: This opportunity is part-time, permanent offering between 16 - 30 hours per week. The person is supported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early and late shifts as well as regular sleepovers on a team rotational schedule.
