Job Description Technical Controller Full Time Derby/Hybrid What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen within Technical Control to join the team based in Derby, as part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) & Complex team, aligned to Civil Large Engines. The main role of a Technical Controller is to control, support and manage the introduction of authorised Product Technical Change for both New Production and Aftermarket, aligned to Civil Large Engines. Responsibilities: The role will include representing Technical Control in aspects of Product Change (Advanced Product Quality Planning/Product Change Board), creating modification instructions for build with updates to Bills of Material, analysing module and engine reallocations, conducting Product Verifications and supporting the assembly build areas within CLE. Support the Product Change process, guiding modification categorisation and incorporation policy. Create, manage, and control specific serialised Product Bills of Material in line with design intent. Produce product structures to support best practice in supply chain management and assembly and provide Should Build and modification instructions. Verification of as-built product in support of Product Despatch. Ownership of the engine launches over PESTEX and transfer of BoMs to KHI. Why Rolls-Royce?
