Description To contribute to the provision of a quality Exam service, ensuring that all Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) are made in compliance with exam regulations, college policies, and relevant JCQ requirements. To develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the requirements of regulatory bodies with regard to examinations in order to provide a comprehensive and efficient service. Key Responsibilities To communicate effectively with the Learning Support Team and Awarding Organisations to ensure Examination Access Arrangements (EAAs) are accurately approved in a timely manner. To follow internal deadlines and those set by the Awarding Organisations and regulatory bodies. To be knowledgeable of current approval procedures and regulations for all Awarding Bodies and to follow those procedures to gain approval where required. To liaise with the Exams Team to prioritise approval of EAAs for upcoming exams. To work closely with exam invigilators, exam officers, exam assistants and other relevant staff to ensure that EAAs are effectively implemented during exam periods. To ensure that any specific equipment or materials required for access arrangements (e.g., laptops, reading pens, special furniture) are available and in working order on exam days. To gather data regarding EAAs that are not utilised by students and report to the Learning Support EAA Coordinator to support a review of arrangements for those students. To respond to all queries regarding Exam Access Arrangements. To support the Examinations Team with other administrative duties as required. such as, helping prepare exam material and equipment for exams, providing support to invigilators in the exam room, dispatch of exam papers and certificates. To develop and maintain high levels of customer service and responsiveness through all aspects of examinations provision both internal and external. To develop and enhance skills and knowledge of the student records management system (EBS), with particular expertise in the Exams related modules in order to deliver a consistently high level of data accuracy and efficiency of examinations service. To ensure personal compliance with relevant policies and procedures and to make suggestions around service improvements based on individual experience of issues which arise during the performance of duties. To ensure continuous development and improvement of professional knowledge. Any other duties, of a similar level of responsibility, as may be required.
