Are you a skilled technician who can handle complex and sensitive tasks, such as replacing Aquatherm with Mapress SS.
You have a keen eye for detail and can spot any issues with the PP-R pipework systems before they become a problem. You are also a team player who can work well with others and follow the company’s policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of experience, knowledge, and skills. You will need to have proven experience of working for a medium-large facilities management organisation, maintaining industrial and commercial wet systems, maintaining, commissioning, and bringing into service PP-R pipework systems, and working on a military establishment.
You will also need to be IT literate (including use of PDA), able to read and interpret system drawings, and have basic electrical knowledge (desirable).
In addition, you will need to have a customer-focused, proactive, and flexible attitude to work, a strong problem-solving capability and self-discipline, a strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), and a professional attitude to workmanship and behaviours.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Full valid UK driving licence
NVQ 2 in plumbing
City and Guilds Tech 2 or equivalent
Manual Handling (desirable)
PASMA & IPAF qualifications (desirable)
H&S Training (desirable)
An understanding of safe systems of work
An understanding and working knowledge of other disciplines within a multi task delivery service
Must have or be eligible to obtain MoD security clearance
Industrial, Commercial, Domestic building services experience (desirable)
