Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer STIP Bonus - up to 10 months Location : Belfast, Northern Ireland Due to increased business requirements we have a vacancy at our facility in Belfast for a Manufacturing Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Line ownership with responsibilities for key KPI including Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost. Lead the introduction of new products and processes (NPI) Conduct problem solving and hold Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations. Managing safety, quality and process improvements on an assembly line. Identify, define and implement process quality and process design steps in line with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements Identify, purchase and project manage the installation of tooling, equipment, machinery and capital expenditure projects Ensure that Design for Manufacture and Assembly principles are applied through the product development process Ensure new product and process implementations meet safety requirements Ensure accurate new product costing through Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing accuracy Co-ordinate and implement complex engineering changes Required: A degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with relevant manufacturing experience. The ability to read engineering drawings Successful candidates will be computer literate in Microsoft Office. Desired Experience and knowledge of Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices and/or APQP Experience of SAP or another MRP/ERP system. Experience in 3D CAD Experience with Assembly line balance Experience with leading RCCA investigations and implementing solutions.
