Deputy Manager for Children's Home in Ilford
Leader Group are actively looking for a compassionate and driven Deputy Manager to join our client's team in Ilford, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, including weekend availability.
Role Responsibilities:
* Uphold and promote the rights of young people
* Maintain safeguarding standards
* Liaise with the Service Manager on changes in care needs for individual residents
* Keep records in line with company policies
* Conduct structured key work sessions
* Engage young people in service development
* Communicate effectively across the team and with external professionals
What We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in children's residential care.
* Knowledge: Understanding of OFSTED regulations and compliance.
