As Head of Service, you will: Lead multidisciplinary teams Shape and further improve early help and children’s social care services Lead specific practice areas across Cornwall Drive innovation and evidence-based interventions Further strengthen staff confidence, capability, wellbeing and resilience Skills and Requirements: Qualified and registered social worker Proven track record of effective leadership in social care (ideally within a Local Authority setting) Ability to lead the development and delivery of innovative, evidence-based interventions Strong commitment to improving children's experiences and outcomes Expertise in building the confidence, capabilities, and resilience of the workforce Excellent ability to foster a positive, supportive work environment Willingness to engage in mentoring or coaching to further develop leadership skills Ability to work effectively within a senior leadership team What Cornwall can offer you: In recognition of the vital contribution you make, Cornwall offer an attractive package of benefits including: A competitive salary.
