We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our M&E Projects team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across various MoD Sites. This includes working on a variety of tasks including servicing, testing and purging gas appliances as well as installing and maintaining pipework in a range of buildings. For this role you will be required to travel across a range of sites, so you will need to be comfortable committing to this aspect of the role as well as holding a full driving license. Van and Fuel card will be provided. Key responsibilities (but not limited to): Maintain and service commercial gas boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Replace gas meters and booster sets Servicing commercial hot water cylinders Maintain and repair gas systems across the site Diagnose and troubleshoot issues swiftly Review jobs and order materials to meet SLAs Collaborate with the Site Manager to complete and sign off job paperwork Skills and Experience: Experience of working within a commercial environment as a gas engineer. Strong mechanical understanding that can be used to diagnose and resolves issues across the site Commercial Gas qualification (COCDN1) Is essential however, we will support you in obtaining any further certifications as required (CSGA1, CIGA1, COCN1 etc) Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade Good knowledge of commercial gas and heating systems Full UK driving licence Ability to pass Security Clearance to work on MoD site What We Offer: Company Vehicle & Fuel Card – for all your travel needs.
