We are currently recruiting for a HLTA to support in one of our primary schools in the PR2 area of Preston. The school has a secure and happy environment where all children can enjoy learning and develop lively and enquiring minds, in a safe, stimulating and secure environment. The school has seven single aged classes where there is a happy family atmosphere.
We are looking for a candidate Level 3 or above to work with 3 high needs pupils, 2 with autism and 1 with a physical disability. These pupils are in EYFS and KS1. You will be responsible for leading the learning of these pupils in a 'hub' There will be an element of personal care involved. You will receive half a day a week planning and preparation time and be regularly supported by other staff members. We are looking for applicants who are skilled, enthusiastic and willing to learn. You should be confident with behaviour management and committed to delivering the provision to enhance the learning and development of all pupils. You should be willing to make a positive contribution to the life of the schools and would need to be flexible and adaptable, a good communicator, cheerful, calm and work as part of our team.
The position is long term 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8.45 till 3.30 and you can expect to receive between £13 to £14 per hour. The position is due to commence asap.

27. Ensuring your weekly availability is up to date.
Essential requirements:
28. Relevant qualifications (TA3 or higher)
29. Knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 national curriculum.
30. Classroom experience.
31. Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference) Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered
