Reporting to the Head of Legal and Business Affairs, key responsibilities will include:
* Drafting, negotiating, interpreting, and advising on a range of commercial agreements including NDAs, supplier/vendor contracts, and licensing agreements.
* Drafting, reviewing, and advising on sports rights acquisition and distribution agreements.
* Managing external legal and business advisers, consultants, and other subject matter experts.
* Draft, curate, and continually improve the team's legal precedents and policies.
* Assisting with implementing official legal and strategic policies on cutting-edge opportunities, risks and industry trends.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and understanding the general regulatory environment in which the Group operates globally.
* Providing assistance on corporate governance and compliance issues.
* Supporting corporate secretary efforts.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
* Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with 1 - 3 years' PQE, ideally trained at an international law firm, or completed a reputable in-house training contract.
* Experience gained within sport, digital media, gaming or technology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage internal stakeholders effectively.
* Collaborative attitude with willingness to contribute to a wide range of work
* Ability to find pragmatic commercial solutions to complex legal and commercial issues.
