We’ve an exciting opportunity for 5 Underwriting Document Reviewers to join us on a 12 month FTC working on our Consumer Duty Communications Project Team.
Working as part of the Schemes & Delegated Authority (SDA) team you’ll help to deliver the SDA Consumer Duty implementation strategy by taking personal accountability for the review and implementation of improved Delegated Authority Documentation to improve customer’s understanding and mitigate the risk of harm. You’ll focus to deliver excellent customer outcomes through the review as well as the implementation of documentation that reflects regulatory and customer needs, whilst maintaining strong partner relationships with DAs.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Take responsibility for reviewing existing standard and bespoke product related documentation, to provide clarity and improve customer understanding.
2. Ensure the revised documents meet both internal and external/regulatory requirements and expectations; aligned with AXA Commercial best practice standards.
3. Possess a deep understanding of requirements, alongside the ability to put this knowledge into practice.
4. Ability to work autonomously as required, to meet project milestones in a timely manner.
5. Role model integrity, resilience, collaboration, and enthusiasm.
6. Drive a positive culture and demonstrate what good looks like in all aspects of the role.
7. Build excellent external and internal relationships at all levels, establishing trusted partnerships to support execution of the SDA strategy.

Your Profile
What we’re looking for:
10. Expertise in analysing, interpreting, documenting, and drafting complex policy wordings, guides, and other product related documentation.
11. Understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with Consumer Dutyand be confident in identifying and applying the necessary change/wording improvements within our customer facing documentation.
12. Thorough understanding of commercial insurance market and processes, including legislative and regulatory requirements.
13. Pragmatic and confident decision maker with proven experience in technical underwriting scenarios within a commercial environment.
14. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
15. Proof reading capability and strong literacy skills.
16. Ability to work at pace with a continuous improvement mindset.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
