We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Buyer to join our expanding team. This role is critical to ensuring efficient supply chain operations, maintaining budget controls, and optimising stock levels.
What you’ll do
* Place, track, and allocate material purchase orders to meet project needs
* Monitor and control purchase costs at the project level, ensuring adherence to material and transport budgets
* Maintain optimal raw material stock levels, balancing availability with cost efficiency
* Select and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and service standards
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
* Strong analytical and budgeting skills
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Familiarity with supplier evaluation processes
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and Sage 200
