£63,250 per annum + 10% shareholder bonus

Appoint Healthcare are proud to be partner with an extremely reputable, growing and forward-thinking leading national UK provider of health and social care services for people living with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Together we are seeking a Hospital Manager for their brand new, purpose built neurological care centre in York. This is an extremely rewarding role to help people get better. An exciting and challenging role – no two days are the same.
Overview
The main purpose of this role but is not limited to:
1. To take overall responsibility for the effective management of all aspects of the Hospital, thereby ensuring the provision of the highest quality standards of diagnosis specific care and treatment, driven by the needs of the individual.
2. To lead, manage and direct a multidisciplinary team in the attainment of aims and objectives linked to the company’s strategic plan and the needs of the individual.
3. To meet full compliance in line with the requirement of the regulatory body and relevant legislation.
4. To market the Hospital to all potential commissioners and referrers with the key aim of creating new business opportunities.
5. To manage organic and planned change within the service, to meet the demands of new business.
Requirements
6. Must have worked as a Registered Manager before and have experience of managing a clinical team (A clinical qualification or live nurse PIN would be desirable but is not essential)
7. To have completed QCF(NVQ) level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
8. In depth knowledge of statutory requirements Legislation and outcomes
9. Experience and understanding of what constitutes a high quality specific residential service.
10. Collaborating with a Multi-Disciplinary Team to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
11. The ability to manage and guide staff including clinicians via formal supervisions and appraisals to maintain and improve quality and morale.
12. Experience of managing budgets and financial systems.
13. Ability to prioritise the workload to meet specified deadlines.
14. Ability to be flexible and to work unsociable hours when required.
15. Ability to fulfil the travelling requirements of the post including attending training/meetings.
Location
This role is based in York and is commutable from Leeds, Harrogate, Hull, Market Weighton and surrounding areas.
