Purpose of the role The position holder is responsible for process line checks and autonomous maintenance, housekeeping duties, movement of material. The role requires a high level of job flexibility to ensure site standards and production targets are met. Key Accountability Actively promote Health and Safety. Assist in the operations team in the field by making routine and non-routine checks around the plant. Maintain high standards of housekeeping though out the site including the use of vacuumation units Assist in the diagnosis and remedy of interruptions to production Production sampling as required Tower cleaning tasks as required e.g. use of Cardox, lancing and high pressure water jetting Movement of materials – fuels, raw materials, wastes, by-products, etc Other production tasks as required e.g. fan blade cleaning, filter bag/cartridge replacement, unblocking chutes and hoppers, equipment cleaning, plant inspections.
