The team are seeking an energetic, diligent, and bright Newly Qualified Solicitor with a genuine commitment to high-quality work. The role involves fast-paced yet detail-oriented tasks and requires a strong team ethic.
The Team:
1. Renowned for its expertise, representing employers, scheme trustees, and product providers on a wide range of legal issues involving trust law, legislation, case law, and regulatory guidance. Their work spans various pension schemes, often focusing on high-value arrangements.
2. This hard-working, high-performing team fosters a collaborative and supportive environment. Many team members actively participate in industry organisations, including the Association of Pension Lawyers.
3. From day one, you will handle significant responsibilities, working on high-value cases and transactions while building your reputation and expertise. You will contribute to their business strategy and integrate into client-facing teams to make a real impact in the pensions industry.
The Role:
1. Supporting senior team members and partners with client work.
2. Delivering written and oral advice, conducting legal research, and analysing evidence.
3. Reviewing corporate due diligence materials for merger and acquisition projects.
4. Drafting documentation, including schedules and case preparations for counsel or court.
5. Liaising with clients, colleagues, and other professional advisers with professionalism and sensitivity.
The Candidate:
1. Knowledge of UK pensions law.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and advisers.
3. Commitment to teamwork, quality, and client care.
4. Excellent case and time management skills.
5. Outstanding academic background.
