As the Airport Badgeging Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and processing the issuance, renewal, and revocation of airport identification badges in compliance with federal regulations, airport security protocols, and company policies. This role ensures that all engineering resources requiring access to secure areas of the airport are properly vetted and have the necessary credentials. What will you do? Process applications for airport identification badges, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate. Conduct background checks and security screenings in compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other regulatory requirements. Issue, renew, and revoke airport badges as required, maintaining an accurate database of all badge holders. Ensure all badging activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including TSA and airport security guidelines. Monitor badge access levels and ensure they are appropriate for the individual’s role and responsibilities. Conduct regular audits of badge holders and access levels to maintain security integrity. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, contractors, and vendors regarding badging procedures and requirements. Coordinate with airport security, human resources, and other relevant departments to resolve badging issues or concerns. Ensure all badge holders are aware of their responsibilities regarding badge usage and airport security protocols. Update training materials and programs as regulations and policies change. Maintain and update the badging database, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Generate and analyze reports on badge issuance, renewals, expirations, and security incidents What will you bring to ESP? At least 2/3 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in an Aviation role or a highly regulated environment. Proficiency in using security systems, databases, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to manage time-sensitive matters and resolve issues through to completion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to any new change or situation Process-driven with the ability to be innovative. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including airport personnel, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
