Location: Bognor Regis, West Sussex
Job Type: Full Time
We are working with a lovely independent practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly, ever-growing team.
This is a permanent full-time role working a 4-day week, totaling 40 hours. Usually, there is a mixture of shifts (7.30am-6pm, 8.30am-7pm, and 9.30am-8pm). Everyone contributes to the daytime weekend rota, bank holiday, and on-call rota. There are dedicated twilight and night teams, so there is no out-of-hours requirement except that the day team acts as “last resort” backup for the night on an on-call rota. Everyone contributes to the weekend rota, where you will provide in-patient care at one of the hospitals and help with emergencies supported by a 2nd RVN, an SVN, an ANA, and a receptionist, as well as the two vets. You’ll have 2 days off in lieu for the weekend worked.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to use all their nursing skills and experience in a positive surgical and medical environment, looking after a variety of patients and dealing with emergencies.
The practice is proud of the experience and expertise within the team; many of the vets and nurses hold additional qualifications and have years of experience. They believe in nurturing the talent within the team and provide a comprehensive induction process, regular internal CPD, and a generous CPD allowance with certificate funding available.
The practice has excellent facilities, equipment, and team members to uphold the high clinical standards.
This is a truly rewarding role, with a fantastic salary of £33,000 per annum!
You will also receive:
1. RCVS and VDS fees paid plus a subscription of your choice
2. CPD allowance; certificates supported & funded
3. Occupational health including mental health support
4. Enhanced parental leave and flexible working policies
5. And much more!
