Salary: £44,000.00
Type: Permanent
Full time: 40 hours
As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. By completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face, you will assess how our claimant's disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased, and reassuring manner.
With proven experience of working within a medical background you will:
* Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
* Interpret clinical information and evidence.
* Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.
* Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (listed below)
* An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
* Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Essentials Qualifications (without these your application cannot be considered)
Nurses:
* Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
* Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
Physios/OTs:
* Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
* Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT)
