Role Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager at Kent Pharma include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and manage a team of Supply Chain professionals responsible for procurement, supply, shipment, delivery, and release of an individual portfolio of products, developing and using KPIs to measure and drive performance excellence.
* Act as the Supply Chain Planner for key areas of supply where business priorities require escalated levels of capability, focus, and direction.
* Provide direction, leadership, and act as a point of escalation for issue resolution related to supply to maximise fulfilment of customer orders while ensuring appropriate levels of inventory are maintained.
* Oversee the reporting of shortages to relevant health authorities and maintain accuracy of this information.
* Liaise with the Senior Logistics Manager to identify areas of inventory risk and devise an action plan for risk mitigation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturing and supply partners ensuring on-time and cost-effective procurement of products.
* Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities designed to streamline and simplify operations.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve processes and align on delivery of day-to-day business priorities.
* Review and approve proposed Purchase Orders in the ERP system, ensuring they reflect current information on expected supply.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant local procedures detailed in local Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions to meet GxP standards.
* Performance manage a small team of Supply Chain Planners, completing reviews and monitoring performance in line with company timelines and standards.
* Close collaboration with Business Development colleagues to ensure smooth launch of new products into the Kent-Athlone Business.
* Deputise for the Operations Director as required by business needs.

Education
* Degree educated or equivalent industry experience

* A valid Passport as some European travel may be necessary for external events, trade shows, meetings, conferences, etc.
