Accountant | Mid Kent | Up to £37,000Are you a skilled Accountant with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for financial accuracy? Do you thrive in managing accounts, ensuring compliance, and keeping businesses financially sound? I am currently working exclusively with a company who are recruiting for an Accountant.

Responsibilities:

* Managing all accounting transactions
* Preparing budget forecasts & publishing financial statements
* Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
* Reconciling accounts payable & receivable
* Ensuring timely bank payments
* Computing taxes & preparing tax returns
* Managing balance sheets & profit/loss statements
* Monitoring financial health & liquidity
* Maintaining financial confidentiality & conducting database backups
* Overseeing payroll & subcontract payments

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience as an Accountant
* Strong knowledge of accounting regulations (GAAP)
* Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (training available)
* MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables)
* Attention to detail & excellent analytical skills
* BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA is a plus)
