As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will support the Head of Finance by being responsible for the Accounts Payable function. You will have full ownership of the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier statements are reconciled, invoices efficiently and accurately processed and are paid to terms, suppliers are accurately set up on the system. You will positively contribute and be responsible for the success of the accounts payable team. You will manage all end-to-end processes ensuring all payments are processed in line with internal SLA’s to maintain a seamless and efficient service whilst supporting the Accounting team during the month end reporting process, posting journals and providing ad-hoc analysis as required. Actively manage, support and develop the Accounts payable team. Skills needed for an Accounts Payable Supervisor role: Has a strong understanding of full accounts payable processes in a high-volume environment Clear knowledge of accounting practices, specifically Accounts Payable Proven proficiency of creating, analysing, and disseminating clear and concise reports to track KPIs and individual team member performance. Effective upkeep & management of internal systems and processes Pro-actively reviews, monitors and challenges processes and ways of working to ensure best practice and streamline processes to maximise efficiency Previous experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role Previous experience of supervising other team members Previous experience and working knowledge of Accounts payable practices If this Accounts Payable Supervisor role sounds like you, we really want to hear from you The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
