The Product Manager - Data Acquisition, Robotic & Automation and Modeling & Simulation will be end-to-end accountable for managing and driving the success of a portfolio of digital solutions focused on Research and Innovation activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of the domain. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in an Agile environment, with a proven track record of delivering innovative digital products that support operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: - Product Strategy & Roadmap: - Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Data Acquisition, Automation, Modeling & Simulation portfolio. - Align product goals with organizational objectives, identifying where technology can best meet current and emerging market needs. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: - Partner with teams across Syensqo-especially in Research and Innovation-to co-create and refine product strategies and roadmaps. - Serve as a primary point of contact, keeping teams and stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the product lifecycle. Product Lifecycle & Performance: - Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support. - Use data-driven insights to enhance product features, improve user experience, and ensure that each product meets the evolving needs of users. Documentation & Reporting: - Keep comprehensive product documentation, including requirements, guides, and updates. - Regularly share progress, product performance, and key strategic updates with senior management. Key Requirements: Technical Skills: - Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts in the Data Acquisition, Robotic & Automation, Modeling & Simulation domain. - Experience with digital product development, Physical assets such as Robotic, Laboratory computer and workstation, their integration through infrastructure network. - Experience or knowledge in the field of Modeling & Simulation software landscape, particularly on DFT & Molecular Dynamics and/or Virtual engineering and/or other similar types of modeling. Industry Knowledge: - Understanding or passion for industry, including the challenges and opportunities related to Data Acquisition from research and innovation equipment, Robotic & Automation, Modeling & Simulation domain. - Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices. Leadership & Communication: - Strong leadership and communication skills that inspire collaboration and innovation within cross-functional teams. - Problem-solving acumen, with a focus on detail, strategy, and the ability to bring big-picture ideas to life. Additional Skills: - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge in product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence etc). Education and experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership, experience in the chemical or industrial sector is a plus - Proven experience working in a domain of Data Acquisition, Robotic & Automation and /or Modeling & Simulation.
