HRD Integrated Services is a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) dedicated to delivering both accredited and non-accredited training within the Australian rail system. Our expertise lies in rail signalling and infrastructure training, where we provide in-depth training, assessment, and consulting services. Our main office and small group training venue are located in Melton, with additional larger group sessions held at the Rail Academy Newport.
About the Position:
We are on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver the Certificate IV in Rail Signalling at both the Rail Academy Newport and our Melton office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing training materials and ensuring all resources are ready for each session.
* Conducting both classroom and hands-on competency-based training.
* Supporting classroom and online learners.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing guidance and feedback.
* Performing on-the-job competency assessments to ensure standards are met.
* Staying current with technical information and recommending updates to training materials.
* Keeping informed of client needs to ensure effective training delivery.
Skills and Experience:
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in the RTO sector, with a strong grasp of training, assessment, and compliance processes.
* Certificate IV in Rail Signalling (UEE41223).
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
Additionally, you should bring:
* A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and sharing your expertise.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
* Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.

Work Hours: The position is available for full-time, part-time or casual employment, based on your preference, with a Monday to Friday schedule.
