Job overview
The stroke service at SFH is based at King’s Mill Hospital (KMH) and is an all-inclusive model covering hyper-acute, acute and rehabilitation services, as well as the Early Supported Discharge (ESD) team for stroke. All of these are under the same management team, sharing team members, clinical protocols and governing structures.
The SFH stroke service admits approximately 500 stroke patients annually and was recently rated at an overall level A, in the latest Stroke Sentinel National Audit Programme (SSNAP).
