Job Title: Bank Nurse – Oncology/Haematology Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham Bank Pay: Competitive dependent upon shift. Rates inclusive of WTR include indicative additional amount separately payable on claiming accrued annual leave. WTR is calculated on the average hourly pay rate over the preceding 52 weeks and may therefore differ from the amount included in the above WTR rates The Harborne Hospital is recruiting Bank Nurses to join our friendly and motivated Cancer Nursing Team This is a bank role, working on an “as and when required” basis. You will help supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during times of annual leave or absence. What you’ll do: As a Bank Staff Nurse in the cancer nursing team at The Harborne Hospital, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients receive safe, compassionate, and comfortable care. This role involves addressing the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients by effectively communicating with them, their families, and your colleagues. What you’ll bring: Experience within haematology and /or Oncology setting desirable but not essential NMC Registered nurse NHS or Private Hospital experience Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
