Direct Sourcing Recruiter for Leadership Roles
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Direct Sourcing Recruiter to support our recruitment team by identifying, engaging, and nurturing top management and executive-level talent.
This role will play a key part in accelerating time-to-fill and strengthening our talent pipeline through market insights and direct outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source and engage qualified candidates for management and executive-level positions through direct outreach and talent mapping.
2. Partner with recruiters to understand hiring needs and role requirements.
3. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical leadership positions.
4. Develop and implement a framework to monitor labour market trends and talent availability.
5. Identify and leverage opportunities related to economic shifts, including layoffs or downsizing in relevant industries.
6. Maintain sourcing metrics and report on sourcing effectiveness and labour market insights.
Qualifications:
7. 6+ years of experience in talent sourcing and/or executive search, with a focus on leadership roles.
8. Strong research and market analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into sourcing strategies.
9. Proficiency in sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping platforms).
10. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
11. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Direct Sourcing Recruiter for Indigenous Talent
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Direct Sourcing Recruiter to support our recruitment team by identifying and engaging Indigenous talent.
This role will play a key part in accelerating time-to-fill and strengthening our talent pipeline through market insights and direct outreach.
This role will also help build long-term talent pipelines through partnerships with post-secondary programs and Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
12. Proactively source and engage Indigenous candidates for a wide range of roles.
13. Partner with the recruitment team to align sourcing efforts with hiring needs and inclusion goals.
14. Develop a framework to identify post-secondary programs aligned with future skill needs and strategic direction.
15. Support the design and implementation of co-op, internship, and outreach strategies to attract Indigenous talent.
16. Track and report on sourcing effectiveness and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
17. 6+ years of experience in recruitment or talent sourcing, with a focus on inclusive hiring strategies.
18. Knowledge of Indigenous communities, cultures, and best practices in engagement.
19. Experience building partnerships with post-secondary institutions and community organizations.
20. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
21. Ability to work independently, with sensitivity and cultural awareness.
