About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly-organized individual to join the team as a Postgraduate Research Programmes Administrator. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support for our postgraduate research programmes, focusing on the operational coordination of processes, guidance provision, and support for students, staff, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for overseeing the administration of PhD programmes in the School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences (SELCS), managing the day-to-day activities, as well as providing support for research-related operations of the School.
As part of a team, you will supervise one or more Senior Administrators and work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient execution of key administrative tasks, including the handling of postgraduate research admissions, scholarship coordination, and progression monitoring.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative career while contributing to the academic success of postgraduate research students within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
About You
You will have:
* Strong experience in administrative roles, ideally in higher education or research.
* Proven ability to manage postgraduate research administration (admissions, funding, progression).
* Excellent organisational, IT, and communication skills.
* Experience supervising or managing a team.
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
